Safety First
Returning to College has taken on new meaning and a new set of worries for parents and other caregivers during the age of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). College must now balance the educational, social and emotional needs of their students along with the health and safety of students and staff in the midst of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
Placements at Prism
The main objective of the campus placement activity is to get students a job right after they have finished their education. Since the campus placement is conducted before the final exam, students have an added incentive to do well in their final exam. Students are also under less pressure. Good placements also allow colleges to claim 100% placement which is an excellent form of advertising for them. Companies get to snatch up talented people who will do some great work for their business.
Courses at Prism
There are a variety of courses that our college students can choose from. Courses that lead to academic credit may be lecture courses, discussion courses, or lab courses. In lecture courses, the professor or teaching assistant generally presents information while the students take notes. Discussion-based courses typically emphasize learning through student engageme
Library provision
The objectives should be that a college library should become an instrument of instruction. In order to determine, how far it has succeeded in achieving the objective, one should determine the extent to which the users (students and faculty) use the resources of the library as an integral part of the curriculum. In other words, it means that teaching in the classroom must depend more on the library than the textbooks. The library must become an integral part of the teaching program.
